Frequently asked questions
How exactly is each call billed?
Every operation has a flat rate: $0.005 per /v1/search call, $0.001 per additional page crawled, $0.002 per re-ranking pass, and $0.003 per schema extraction. A basic search with no extras costs $0.005. Your dashboard shows an itemised cost breakdown for every call.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you purchase never expire. Use them at your own pace — whether that's tomorrow or six months from now.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with $1 free credit — no credit card required. That's roughly 200 base search calls, enough to prototype a complete RAG pipeline.
Can I buy a custom amount?
Yes. The quick-buy buttons are for convenience. From your dashboard you can top up any dollar amount you like — there's no minimum.
What happens when my credit runs out?
Requests return a 402 Payment Required once your balance reaches zero. Top up from the dashboard and you're back immediately — no waiting for a billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Reach out if you need invoice billing for larger amounts.
